In 2007, we celebrated 25 years of Eland Publishing with a wealth of new titles: Nicolas Bouvier's The Way of the World, David Gilmour's Leopard, Alec Waugh's biography of Bangkok, John Lucas's gritty portrayal of Athens, 92 Acharnon Street, and the first Eland edition of Peter Levi's The Hill of Kronos.

We also added to our "through writers' eyes" series with Persia and the Land of the Iranians and Egypt and the Nile, as well as two more poetry titles: Andalucia and Istanbul.
